Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of sports broadcasts and what it feels like? Yes, it is fun watching the big game from your living room TV and enjoying the game with friends and family but people don’t realize what makes the magic of the game whether it be through funny graphics, interesting camera angles, halftime shows, and so much more. Well, if you do have interests and want to learn more about that work from behind the scenes, let me introduce you to West Texas A&M’s very own on campus broadcast crew, Thunder Vision. This crew is piled up to 21 active members all of them being students ranging from freshman to seniors and all of them have the same goal when it comes to this organization and that is to provide the best broadcast available to the public to watch at home on the Lonestar Conference Digital Network where all their games will be featured on. Thunder Vision coordinator Chris Jaques, who himself is a WT alumni and graduated last December with a business degree and has taken control of Thunder Vision since last October. He has big plans for the organization for the near future but his main goal right now is to get his employees ready for the real world of broadcasting so that way they have a lot of experience under their belts when it's time for them to graduate when they become seniors. Thunder Vision founder Chance Haugen and Freshman Dylan McMullen explained the history of Thunder Vision and what they think of the program and moving forward into the next semester.
